This type of BS unacceptable business is quite simple to fix and even easier to avoid!

PREVENTION:
Comunincate with your paying customers better.
Give a decent warning of changes to events, id say atleast 2 weeks but the longer the better. 24 hours is unacceptable.
A player/mod discussuion area where you can discuss promos before you roll them and and players can point put any flaws that the mods may have missed.

Solution:
After you have made a mess up like this, i see only one fair solution.
ALL TICKETS SHOULD BE TRASFERD TO THE NEW HIGHER BUYIN AMOUNT!



As stated earlier in this thread, there are only a handfull of people that had two tickets. Add the few that dont read Pokah! and didnt know they had to use their ticket. It wont cost you $millions Pokerroom, but it could save you $millions in bad press like you always get from these BS fu*k ups.

If one of you copy/paste Mods could ship this up to the higher levels of management, and actually press him/her for a solution that would be great.

I agree with what Ratty said.. if qualifiers just went into a pool on account to enter tournies would solve a lot of problems.

How hard can it be for giving players opions. You can make them opt for like 4 x$50 tick (so they can play qualies for the new CC) and a $22 tick or something. Just give em $235. IC T$ very_happy

Yer, Im gonna hav to get offboard the TAK wagon, for a number of reasons.

1. Hes posts dont make any sense.
2. He said his tik (which is obviously a final tik) was due to expire in 10 days anyway. He had no chance of playing in ANY! tourney (pr might have created new 'tiks' for the exchange event, credited to those eligible?). Regardless, he had 2 monthes like everyone else.


It sounds like youre trying to rort the system TAK, and you tried to take advantage of the assistance provided to you here in pokah? Nothing gets past me TAK. (although, i could be wrong wink )

we seem to get an influx of the 'ranting, scamming stooge' around these times! Dont take it personally! (i can admit, your situation just sounds very glitchy tak. You need to phone support again, and get more info).

Atleast you had a free 'pr bash'. Next time, be clearer, and throw in a few facts.

They'll just wait till this dies off and nothing will be done. Just like the Ongame Classic ticket fiasco, the only winner is PR when the unused tickets expire and they keep all the money spent to earn them.

In the meantime they'll just blow smoke up everyones wazoos, and attempt a bunch of convoluted yet ineffective solutions that will accomplish no more than pissing more people off.

It really makes me wonder if the geniuses that come up with these ideas actually play poker or have a clue.

It's all about the rake.
