Stupid bet or smart bet

Ok i was having a friendly debate about this with jeff so thought id post it here and see what everyone thinks.

Its the $5k guarenteed $22 short handed deepstack tourney

Firstly i know the bet is ridiculous i bet 5k preflop and bet 1.6k post flop but that was what i was trying to do "look ridiculous and enduce a bluff reraise or let him come over the top with any pair , i know with a pair if i bet 4k/5k he is reraising so if i really can put him on a pair then 4k/5k is a better bet but i had him most likely on ace high so thought this bet may enduce a big bluff by him betting big enough to think he wont be called but i fealt as though a 4k/5k bet may scare off ace high and kill the hand"

Anyways thoughts appreciated and sorry for the rubbish hand history but none others are working for me just now.....
