Ok i could'nt find the HH for this so here goes. I really felt I had to make a move but was told it was a bad move.

The only thing i did wrong was raise 2100 in my opinion when i think i should have bet a little less but am interested in your views.

I had just under 5k in chips in the Royal and the blinds were 400/800.

I;m in middle position with AcQc and feeling i have to move now. I raised 2100, the rest fold except big stack who reraises. I;m thinkin her has 1010 or something. So I go all in.

He has AK off.

i flop both my A and Q and the river gives me a Q making a full house.

I was then told i played that hand badly.

Ok i was lucky but felt i had to call.

What do you think???

Nothing wrong with the call, once you have raised you are committed to the pot.

Only thing id do different is id just open shove when i have less than 9-10xBB.

shove preflop...nh

ur not going to fold to a reraise so u might as well put it in first.

the only reason i didnt go all in pre flop was cos i was hoping i'd get another called and to get more value but point taken. thanks

what ratty and crookd said.

As stated, just shove with about 9 or 10 BB's and less.... people never give you credit for a hand and will call regardless.

you shouldn't look for value with AQ imo... other than that it's a hand that plays itself with your stack compared to blinds.. just openshove any hand you decide to play at this point..

Its a classic reverse bad beat...very_happyvery_happy but they are right, shove....he would of called anyway.
