EroticDon gets some WSOP Lovin’ - By Seth Shafer

Jun 16, 2008 With the ticking of the clock getting louder and lorder (with the last chance to qualify for the 2008 WSOP on June 15th at PokerRoom) last Wednesday’s WSOP online finals drew a nearly full field of 39 players.

RicFler grabbed the chip lead about midway through but couldn’t hold it, eventually exiting in 13th. EroticDon had been near the top of the leaderboard for much of the day, and he survived down to the final five, along with ciror14, -James.Bond-, rockspider76, and LStiebr2.

LStiebr2 would bow out in 4th (picking up a ticket to a future finals), with rockspider76 in 3rd ($293 + a ticket). That left EroticDon and –James.Bond- to battle it out for 1st, with the fate of the world hanging n the balance. Well, the fate of a $17,500 prize package to the WSOP, that is.

In the end the man of love proved more powerful than the man of international intrigue, with EroticDon taking down 1st prize and the WSOP trip package, with –James.Bond- settling for a runner-up finish worth $586 + a finals ticket.
