Suggestions for team play.

Why don't all captains of active teams make suggestions on all aspects of team play.
buyin, no of players, times and days. Keeping comments to the point.
1) think the buyin is set right at the moment with a mix of $50 and $100, perhaps $200 max - no chance of getting $500 with the current limited no of active teams.
2) players per round. I think if tourny goes over more than 1 day - then it shud be only 5, if it's 1 day happy for 5 to 8.
3) Game times earliest start is i believe correct at the mo 8:00 CET thru the week , tho no reason not to start earlier at the weekend. mon - thurs i wud say 11:00CET shud be latest start and fri/sat 12:00 CET.
Tho if theres enuff candian teams no reason y 1 game per week shud not be set later to suit them.
4) Days - multi day tournys wud be best avoiding esport/bandpoker days, and keep 1day events only to these days. or have a tourny that runs wed & sun to match esport.
5) Variety - yes please. e.g 3 rounder of NL holdem/ PL Hilo Omaha/Mixed bag - where manager selects best play for each game.
or 4 rounder day 1 NL holdem/PL Hilo Omaha
day2 NL holdem/Mixed bag.
6) Scheduling - the schedule for each week mon to sun, shud be up friday nite week B4.
7) registration/team selection.- Can this not be done 60mins/30mins B4 - i have yet to here a good reason for 120/90 minutes as it currently stands.
8) gap between games - our team has no problem with overlapping games. 1 hr is fine for 2 rounds on a nite. However for 3 rounds on a nite it shud be 1.5hr gap to prevent possibility of all 3 at same time. 9) Finally - Gtds and added i think PR have to bite the bullet here do they want teamplay to kickoff or not. PR is not the primary site for any of my team, if they want teamplay to go anywhere they have to invest. No way can i convince my team to play $50 game with 4 entrants to win $30 each. I think they have to make all games either 10x buy in Gtd or 2x buy in added until teamplay gets going again.
10) Cancellations - Either preferably set the min no of teams to 2 or make refunds immediate. Too many team managers now wait to see if enuff teams enter B4 they round up their troops, setting the min to 2 avoids this and all the Gtd tournys will reach the min anyway so PR won't suffer.

Finally i know a lot of thes points have been raised, but i'd like all thoughts to be together and on topic. I have avoided doing thoughts on a full schedule until i've heard any other comments.

looks to me like Fred is making an effort to get team play up and running. GL with that.

I know i said i wouldn't suggest a schedule, cos its all been done b4, but here goes. All times CET.
Mon (start the week) 1day/3rounds 8:00 9:30 11:00 6 players - games NLHE/PL08/Mix
Tues (omaha teams) 1day/2rounds 8:30 10:30 6 players - games PLO/PL08
Wed (midweek No Limit) 1day/2rounds 9:00 10:30 6 players - games NLHE
Thurs/Fri (midweek 4 rounder) 2days/4rounds 8:00 9:30 5 players - games NLHE/PLO8/Mix/NLHE
Sat/Sun (the big game) 2days/4rounds 7:00 9:00 8 players - games NLHE (this game to be replaced by the big monthly once a month)

Mon/Tues (midnight special) 2days/2rounds 12:00 6 players - games NLHE
Wed/Thurs (into the night) 2days/4rounds
11:30 01:00 5 players - games NLHE
Fri/Sat (late night special) 2days/4rounds 11:00 12:30 5 players - games NLHE/PLO8/Mix/NLHE

Sun (afternoon special) 1day/3rounds 2:00 3:30 5:00 6 players - games Mix/PLO8/NLHE

i am happy for $50 or $100 for any of these games - maybe $200 for the big game on the sat/sun afternoon.But they shud all be 10Buy-in Gtd or 2Buy-in added initally to get them off the ground.

My thoughts are that the first 5 are all suitable for most european teams (the 5th 1 shud be suitable for all), and the next 3 for canadian (hopefully) and the odd european team.
Again most teams shud make the final game.

I don't even know if the software can cope with alternate games.
thoughts plz - especially on times - hope the middle 3 are suitable for kanooks. no of players i'm wide open about

Hi havent we just done this in kolinars team play suggestions thread also apparently team play can only do hold em at the minute but this might change in the futurevery_happy
