$3000 ADDED IN JUNE

Guys,

Would you like the $3000 added to be a $250+$25 tourney. Last month 22 teams participated in the tournament, so if we have the same no of teams participating for this months event with a $250 buyin, the prize pool would be $8500

What do you guys think?

Lodgers choirboys will be there.

i only have 1 sore point about this - if its only 2 rounds with the current scoring system. consistent teams i.e. 2 3rds cant beat the team who wins 1 round, and places last in another. Much rather have 3 or 4 rounds 4 me.

If its a 250+25 buyin there wont be 22 teams in it.

But make it 250+25, i think its a great idea Fredwink

The monthly should have a bigger buyin.

What Boff said, i think 3 rounds would be great, and keep the number on 8 members pr round.

The $3K added is actually scheduled for the 28th of June, but then if you guys want to have it as a 3 round event we could schedule it for the 27th, 28th and 29th with min 8 players or do you want all the 3 rounds on the same day?

Peronally i think a 3 rounder on the same day sounds great. But it would be nice if it was at least 2 hours between each round for this event. -This will give the teams a better view of whats going on, and cause of the timedifference we might be able to add more players into the game.

But i also like ure idea of having it a 8 player 4 rounds 2 day event.

I think you should wait and see what all teams think b4 you change anything Fred. I think some of the smaller ones have suggested in the past that they might struggle with higher buyins.

If more than 15 teams reg for the 3k monthly, personally, I would prefer the rounds to be on separate days.

The more that enter, the longer it would take for the game to finish and I figure with the amount of teams we got the last time, 2 hrs is enough time to play a round (could be even longer too).

As has been shown since the last 3k was held, there has not been 15 or more teams reg for events, so no winning teams will be getting free buyin tickets. Therefore all teams participating will have to pay the buyin, I doubt we will see more than 10 teams max turn out for the next one.

If, as you say, the buyin enables a larger pot, then by all means, go with that and not call it the 3k Monthly. Perhaps with much a much higher payout, more teams will be encouraged to enter.

As to the dates event is held, I end of every month makes for sense than mid-month. But please make sure you choose times good for everyone, or as close as possible.

^^^ thats actually a very funny and good point Kolly.
If enough teams entered we could have had a 3K every day...
I dont c why 22 teams pop up for a 3K when only 4 pop up for a 1000K. -In the 1000K the value is actually bigger, cause its winner takes it all, and the field is soo much smaller..

So c,mon teams, if u want good valued games, start playing!wink
