hey fred just wondering if that 20 teams prerec to qualify for 3k is new and feasable as we never get 20 teams in any event cpt freerolls which we dont have anymore. hoping its a mistake as we would have qualified under old rules cheers rick

I asked Fred about this agos ago, and he gave a cryptic strange answer.
He said since its a added tournament PR cant let all the winners auto-qualify.

Well.. That may make sence, but here is what i dont get. Last time all the teams winning the GTD events qualified. This time u can qualifie in ALL events, but only if 15-20 teams enter the events and u see pink pigs flying in the sky.

I mean, why make it such a ridiculous number of min. teams. Its the same as removing the possibility of qualifying all together.

Im confused.. And hell is still a a very hot place.

lol!! Guys, the reason why the 1st event tkts were credited to all winning teams of the guaranteed events was because it was the 1st 3K tourney played on team play. The reason also was to give all regular teams a free entry to the 1st event.

The reason why it says 15 or 20 teams is to pay back the fees we earn from the events. for e.g. a $50+$5 would generate $100 in fee if 20 teams enters, and we give it back in form of a $100+$10 event ticket to the winning team.

I know its really difficult to have 15 teams in an event, but I am working on (not promising you guys anything) having the 3K an added tourney every month! Hope that is fair enough

Fred, that would be very nice! Since the buyin into the monthly has gone up, and if its a added tourney every month, this will probably boost up the other events. (to qulifie for it)
In time u might even see 15 teams, so i think i get ure point now. (if the added tourney was in ure mind all the time)

Ok, i know u didnt promise anything, but lets hope then.

I can almost guarantee it will still take a very long time before we c first team qualify though.

However teamplay is just over a year old, and lots has happened in 1 year. U never know.

Sounds good Fred.

Btw, the REASON yous cant afford to be throwing out free tiks to the winners, is simply coz yous dont obide by the point structure in the team play guide. If yous did, then there would only be ONE winner in 95% of the events (meaning only one tik need be awarded in those qualifying events).
