Tournaments on mobile phones

When i'm playing on my phone, i understand i'm playing against users on pc's. Why then can i not enter the same tournaments as the pc users? Can this option not be facilitated?

Hi

Tournaments are not yet supported through the mobile poker game. It's something we're looking in to for the future but we don't have a time frame available.

We will keep you updated.

Why would you want to do this? Why not just play tournaments against other mobile users? Why play against people on PCs, specifically?

I would be happy to be able to play tournaments against anyone but this is not currently facilitated on mobiles. I was simply pointing out that when i play cash games i have access to the same tables as pc users, so why do i not have access to tournament tables.

Stupid questions. Would in not very dear to stay on a mobile for 3 hrs playing a tourny? And what if u get cut off?

You can pay a monthly fee and have unlimited internet access on mobile phones, just like at home. Its about £7 a month on most networks.

Well how is my broadband $18 Ratty if they get it for £7. And is their connection worse than a PC?

Their connection is prob alot slower than yours. They prob get .5 megs and you get 2+megs.

You can run a laptop from a mobile, you just plug it in. My mate does this, but it doesnt run very fast. He doesnt play poker, so i dont know if it fast enough for that.

Never owned either so this might seem even stupider. So hes on say a train and he plugs his mobile into the laptop? .
Why not play poker direct from the laptop?
I must be missing something here
