This concerns the qualifiers where the prize is a ticket to a live event final. (Like WSOP or WSOPE.) Typically a $540 ticket is guaranteed as first prize. Any additional money in the prize fund is distributed between those who finish 1, 2 and 3. My suggestion is to distribute the additional money between those who finish 2, 3 and 4. More people will be happy.  And it would be analogous to the finals. |
