ummm....huh??? Pokerroom doesn't use jokers,
and in the year or so that I have played here, I
have never seen anyone with 5 of a kind. Lots
of 4 of a kind, but Never 5. So i'm confused as
to how you figure you can get 5 of a kind, even
allowing for sharing community cards?

Survey - is this for real, or an obscure joke?

Jan 31, 2003 04:05 PM. Post 12
I can't bring myself to believe that it's for real.

Maybe it's an elaborate way of finding complete
novices in pokerroom - if anyone responds with
something like 'Oh, OK, now I understand.'
then you make damn sure to track that player
down at the tables happy

That is a good thought 7 High, I shall keep it in
mind for the future (definetely a good way to
find poor players). Im not necessarilly talking
about pokerroom.com, as I have never had this
happen there. I have only had this happen
twice, once at The Lodge in Colorado and once
when playing at The Orleans in Vegas. Im sure
Im not the only one, as it is not quite that rare,
I believe someone posted a reply stating that
they had also had it.

Are u mentally ill. There are not 5 aces in a
deck of normal cards. Therefore if you were
playing in a legitamate game, you never got
fice aces, but nice story anyway.

It doesnt matter if you are using jokers or not,
it only matters that you are sharing cards!! It
is only possible in games like 7 card stud,
where there are no shared cards, if you are
using a joker or wild cards. But since you
share 5 cards in Holdem, it is possible. If you
dont believe me, maybe you people need to
read Sklanskys "Advanced Hold Em". There is
an entire chapter on playing 5 of a kind!! Stop
disputing me because I know from experience
that I am right!!

Why thank you for your comments Aladdin!! Glamour Shots, Im not quite sure if I know what
your talking about, but I believe that you are
trying to insult me so I will respond with two
bits of information: 1) Who name themselves after a genie??

2) And if you do choose to name yourself after
a genie, at least spell it properly. (Alladdin)

Thanks for turning this nice chat forum into an
insult contest!
