| Presentation | "The time has come the walrus said, to speak of many things.....". Okay, okay, so I'm not the most original person, who is? and who cares anyway? However, I do wish to speak of many things - well, not many things, but a few at any rate. Throughout all my trials and tribulations on Poker Room (and believe me, there have been many) I remain my same outgoing, friendly self that everyone has come to know and love (hey, so I lie, sue me!!). Retaining my sense of humour has been easy, it's me, it's who I am and all my wonderful friends have contributed to this end. Without you Kol would not be where she is today (actually where in hell am I anyway?). I can honestly state unequivocably that I have never laughed so hard or so much as I have here at the tables with my friends. There have been times when I literally could not see the keyboard to type and other times when I laughed so hard the tears ran down my legs!!. Make of that what you will. The following poem tells of how I got my start on PokerRoom, hope you enjoy it. BY DEFINITION "Hey mom, sit in for me please I have to get to the store, It's poker you're playing, Texas No Limit Hold 'Em", He said as he walked out the door. Never played this before but I give it a go I even manage to win a few hands, But I am totally confused by the chat in the box, for it's a language I don't understand. I didn't want to appear totally rude and having deciphered some chat, When the next hand was won I typed GFY in the box, Got that one right off the bat! But my comment's not welcome I'm getting voted 'abusive', Good For You is all that I said, NP, BRB, FU, LOL, LMAO, I'm finding them all so elusive. When my son returned home and I mentioned what happened, He clued me in on the meaning of letters And being good natured, I took it in stride, Once I gathered my wits and quit laughing. But I have to admit I love online poker, Read all about it from books, And one thing you can count on, I'll be back here tomorrow 'Cause I'm ready, willing and hooked. Ciao. Kolinar |
