I suppose I really should write this down somewhere so I don\'t have to keep (making) typing it up. Lurking is just considered bad form. It\'s the hang-up call of Pokah. Akin to ringing someone\'s doorbell and running away. A single lurk is acceptable (Although, you\'re there anyway, why not say hello?) it can be dismissed as a wrong number, but to continuously lurk someone is just downright rude. A lot of people lurk just to see what people are saying, hoping that they can snatch a morsel here and there to chew on.....like rats. Most of those types have perfected the art of the \"Offline lurk\" and I salute them. If you are going to lurk someone continuously, then at least have the common courtesy to go offline first. That way, everyone wins. Not that I am endorsing this nefarious behavior you understand, although I\'m pretty sure I invented it, but if you\'re going to lurk, that\'s the way to go. I have a Masters in Counselling Psychology and am considering going on to the PhD. Currently working supporting women and children fleeing from domestic abuse. Will be starting my own private consultation/counselling business/life coaching business in the near future.
