| Presentation | Dear Feeling Duped, As you have just learned, not everyone on the Internet are the people they claim to be. It sounds like Slick Sam is one of them. It's especially hard for people who have begun their Internet experiences on sites like XXXX where the vast majority of people are pretty darn nice and up front. These folks assume that everyone is pretty trustworthy. They soon learn otherwise. So, what do you do? There's not a lot that you can do to control what happens to Slick Sam, but you can help yourself by avoiding these types of people as soon as you recognize that they are not being fully honest with you. Usually ignoring these types of folks works after a little while. It sounds like Slick Sam has fooled a group of people, so it's likely you'll be able to slip out of his life unnoticed. As for your friends, I would advise you to give them the same advice. Slick Sam thrives on attention, and so long as he's getting it, he will continue to create these types of fantasies.
