Tournament Tickets

Can't find a sufficent answer?
  • What's a ticket?

A ticket represents the starting fee of a tournament. Instead of posting the fee when playing the big tournaments like the $300+$30 Main Draw™ you can play a qualification tournament (called a satellite) and win a ticket to the final.

When you have a ticket to a tournament it will be visible in the weekly schedule and it will automatically be used when you sign up.
Tickets can be awarded in multiple levels and in most tournaments, beside the cash prize, the winner will also qualify to another (larger) tournament.

If you win 2 satellite tournaments and hence 2 tickets to the same tournament, you can use the second ticket at a later tournament. Hence twice the possibility of going through to the real big money tournaments and land based tournaments.

  • How long does a ticket last?

All tickets will have an expiration time, defining how long it is valid. This will vary and will be displayed in the information regarding the tournaments.

  • Where Can I see how many Tickets I have?

If you log in and go to the Weekly Calendar you will see a white arrow by the side of a tournament. This indicates that you have a ticket to the particular type of tournament. To register, simply double click on the arrow.

You can also see the number of tickets you have by logging on and going to the Account page.

  • Can I sell or give my tickets to someone else?

Tournament tickets are assigned to your account. Just as in normal Casino's a player entering a tournament must either pay the entry fee or have a ticket. Won tickets are non-transferable.

  • Can I cash in my ticket for a $ prize?

The simple answer is no. Here are the general condition relating to Live Event Packages. By participating in an online Live Event Qualifier tournament or promotion that issues a Live Event Prize Package (LEPP) you agree to the following:

    1. The details registered on your PokerRoom account are true. Your registered details can and will be verified if a PokerRoom.com representative requests you to do so.

    2. In the event of winning a LEPP:

    i. You must meet all terms and conditions, including age restrictions, relating to and issued by both the Live Event organisers and PokerRoom.com.

ii. You have the necessary time available and the necessary travel documentation to attend the Live Event.

iii. You are able to independently travel to the Live Event.

iv. If you fail to satisfy at least one of conditions i-iii above you may be offered access to a substitution event of equal or lesser value instead of forfeiting the LEPP. The decision to offer a substitution tournament is at the sole discretion of PokerRoom.com.

    v. You agree to sign a binding contractual agreement with PokerRoom.com that outlines your full obligations in accepting the LEPP. This contract is available to all LEPP winners.

vi. You cannot transfer the LEPP to another individual.

vii. You cannot exchange the LEPP for a cash equivalent.

viii. You may forfeit the LEPP if you fail to meet any one or more of the terms and conditions above.

ix. You accept that the LEPP if forfeited may be offered by PokerRoom.com to another player. In the case of an online qualifier tournament the LEPP will be offered to the player that busted one place before you. PokerRoom.com will decide if you have failed to meet any one or more of the terms and conditions above.

    x. You agree that if the LEPP is forfeited the LEPP will be exchanged for the equivalent 2nd place prize, if that 2nd placed prize is another prize package that you are not eligible to redeem that will also be forfeited and so on until you reach a prize that you do not forfeit. If no such prizes are available you win nothing.

xi. The decision on whether or not you will forfeit the LEPP will be taken by a PokerRoom representative. Any decision shall be final and binding upon all parties.

    3. Any failure to provide required details to administer the LEPP may lead to forfeiture of the LEPP.

    4. PokerRoom.com can alter or amend the published details of any LEPP without prior notice at any time.

    5. In case of any disputes regarding any terms or conditions relating to the LEPP, the decision of PokerRoom.com shall be final and binding upon the parties.
