Introduction


Here you will find a complete guide to our mobile poker client, complete with screenshots. To navigate within the client, use your phone’s joystick. If you prefer, you can also use the number keys 2, 4, 6 & 8 instead of the joystick, and the number 5 key instead of the Fire button.

 

Play for real or for fun


This is where you decide whether you want to play for real money or for play money. If you select Play for real then you can play a selection of cash games online against other PokerRoom.com players. You will first be taken to a log-in screen where you must enter your PokerRoom.com log-in and password.

With Play for fun you have two options. The first is to play offline at a cash table or in a Sit & Go tournament against nine (or one) computerized opponents, with various skill levels. Alternatively, you can play online in cash games against other PokerRoom.com play money players.

 

Quick Seat & Table Selection


Quick Seat is a new option that allows you to sit down at a game as quickly as possible. If you choose this option then you will be asked to select your limits (Fixed Limit, No Limit or Pot Limit) and then your stakes. You will then be automatically taken to a 5-seat table.

If you would like to see all available tables and choose a particular seat then select Table Selection. You will first be asked to select your choice of Limits, Number of Players and Stakes.

 

Select limits


Choose whether you would like to play at a Fixed Limit, No Limit or Pot Limit table.

 

Select players


Next, choose whether you would like to play at a 2-seat, 5-seat or 10-seat table.

 

Select stakes


Finally, select the stakes you wish to play for.

 

Table lobby


You will then be taken to the lobby, where you will be able to see all available tables for the options you have chosen. You can see how many players are seated at each table and also the statistics for each table.

 

Seat selection


When you have selected a table, you will then be taken to the seat selection screen. Use the joystick to move around the table to a position of your choice and then press Fire to sit down.

 

Reserve money


Next you will be asked how much money you would like to bring to the table. Press right/left on the joystick to increase/decrease the amount. Alternatively, you can enter the exact amount using the number keys. Press Fire to confirm.

 

Actions at the table


When it is your turn to act, you have several options:
To Call/Check, press the number key 1, or use the joystick to highlight the Call option and press Fire.
To Fold use the joystick to highlight the Fold option and press Fire.

If you want to Bet/Raise, press the number key 3, or use the joystick to highlight Bet/Raise. Pressing Fire when in Bet/Raise mode will by default place the minimum bet. Alternatively, type in the amount you wish to bet using the number keys. Once you have done this, press Fire to place your bet.

 

Showdown


Once the round is completed, the winning hand will be highlighted and a text summary of the hand will be shown below.

 

In-game menu


Using the Menu, you can sit in or out, go to the cashier, enter chat mode and change your settings. Use the joystick to move to the desired field and press Fire.

 

Settings


The Settings sub-menu allows you to: auto post blinds; toggle sound on and off; toggle in-turn options (the ability to auto check/fold) on and off; and to enter chat mode.

 

Chat mode


Select the chat mode option from the in-game menu to chat to other players at your table. You can choose from a selection of pre-set chat phrases by pressing left or right on your phone’s joystick. Press fire once you have chosen your phrase.
