Well had a busy weekend so wasn't able to play my ratdawg too much. I played a few qualifiers though and won myself 2 tickets to $50+$4 tourneys. Played in the Chinese today and finished 20th, right where it steps up a level in the payment structure but still a lot farther from 1st than I was hoping for. Still, any win is a plus at this stage. The Chinese tourney paid me $120 so my ratroll now stands at $593 (+1 $50+$4 tourney ticket). Gotta do some work today so no poker for at least 6 hours or so, really getting into it though now and wish I could play non-stop. I have been scoping out the other rats on the OPR site and saw another rat hit a big win yesterday... I figure I am in second now but hoping I can regain the lead with a win or two tonight.
Starting to realize that this competition is going to be a crazy one. Still so much time to go and anything can happen. Firmly believe though that its all about BR management and I am keeping it at a solid 5% per tourney to make sure I can last.
Next goal is to hit the $1000 mark so I can start buying into $50 tourney's without winning a ticket through qualifiers. Its nice to play at an elevated level with respect to your bankroll but those qualifiers are real gongshows and I'd rather not waste my time with them if at possible.
LabRat-03 signing off, good luck at the tables and will cya round the PR.
Thanks for the post and advise to hit the other forum. Unfortunately I don't have access so until I get it I am going to have to post here exclusively.
ummm even better ...like explain what a labrat is and what it is you are trying to do so we have some clue as to what you are posting about other wise its just about how you finished in a tourney ...some details would be more useful like is it your money or did they give it to you ect ...
Heya, didn't realize some people weren't in the know...
There is a ton about this competition in the newsroom, if you are interested in checking more about it go here
For the readers digest version, 15 players got selected by sending in a bio and 2 reasons they thought they would be good lab rats and were each given $100 and 2 months to play whatever games their tiny rat hearts desired. Winner keeps what they earn and also gets a added cash bonus and a big tourney ticket.
So yes we are all playing basically for free to try and win this competition.
Turn, so its here ure hiding. They dont know what labrat is cause u have posted it in the wrong forum, as mentioned before. It should be under tabletalk, like the rest of the rats
Ill ask a moderator to move ure thread there. Keep up the good work, ure doin great!
