Really we do - Available now in Betah is the chance for you to shape the future of the poker experience here at PokerRoom.

Over the course of the next few months a select group of PokerRoom players will be allowed to download the current prototype and receive regular updates for the next edition of our poker software.

The test group is potentially open to all real money players but numbers are limited.

All players who sign up to the test group will be able to provide direct feedback to developers through a closed group in Pokah.

It's actually typical of this site. You get something for nothing and we get shafted.

You don't need to test the new software to know it will suck. Any suggestions will be totally ignored, just as the ones we make in the Suggestions forum. There still won't be any HORSE. The turbos will still be way way too quick, which is good for you and rubbish for us. And the bonuses will still be the worst of any site I play on (you don't even pay bonuses earned with player points -- you have to earn EVEN MORE points to get them, which is totally rubbish).

I would like to test the new software and report issues but always when i log on to the alpha, there are no players at all. Not even members of the quality assurance team who should be testing the software the whole day and night long.

The software looks good but I doubt that it's behaviour will be fine if no one is testing.

A Mac download version is an ongoing consideration and could possibly become a future development.

Before this will occur, I am sure questions such as "Is it feasible to our site to create a Mac download version?" and "How many players actually use Mac?" amongst other important questions, needs to be determined.

I would suggest that you keep an eye on the Newsroom for any future updates on PokerRoom.com.
