OPEN MIND-CLOSED MIND

May 15, 2008 10:43 PM. Mensaje 1
I really like open minded people. I always think I am one. Until someone comes along and shows me I haven't quite gotten there yet. It's a life time struggle for me. I always think my mind is like a blosssoming flower, only to learn that I'm still a closed bud. Maybe when the end comes I will be what I yearn to be.

I used to be closed minded in my younger years. Once I got a little older it was easier to open my mind and see the real views of people and things going on in this world.

I can honestly say that being open minded has let me see and meet some of the best people in my life. Being closed and holding gruges and anger isn't any fun anyfun. Like a big black cloud over the top of your head wink

Like Bingo, just when I think I've reached a certain level of openmindedness-(is that a word?)-I look in the mirror and am shocked at how narrow minded I was toward a specific event or item. Realizing it is growth.

Learning is a life long process. It isn't possible for one person to know everything there is to know even if they lived forever. There is just too much information out there to be learned. Thus the old adage "you never to old to learn".

Furthermore, life would be so very boring if there was nothing left for you to discover.
