1 dont raise this hand pf oop. They arent going to fold anyway. Due to the raise you will be playing a large pot with (being oop) a marginal hand to play. Its hard getting cheap info if your hand is ok when you actually do hit.
2 the flopbet is reasonable. I would bet about 3/4 here. Want to end the hand here anyway or play for stacks.
3 If you think you re ahead on the turn with the 500 you re commited. I like shoving better.
And basically they are just idiots. You did get your chips in being a huge favorite.
..and 2 overcards to your 10.. plus straight and flush possible.. I dont dislike it at all.. what can you do? against a low runner runner flush, you tried to bet the flop.. the turn when the jack comes starts getting hard
The only reason I did raise it oop was I had gone 2-3 rounds without seeing a flop, that plus the pre flop calls resulted in me having a stab. Ur prob right tho

Thanks Bangk, didnt put him on the straight as with AK I would have expected a pre flop raise, 89 maybe more believable, truth is my gut tld me he didnt havemuch...and it was righ until the river

I'm sorry, but the way you played that hand was spewlicious.
You're in the BB with the ridiculously marginal hand ATo and 2 limpers and the SB completing. Whats with raising 100?.... This is going to get 1 fold at best. The reason why its so bad though is that you're in horrible position. As Jeff said, you're needlessly bloating the size of the pot with a subpar hand, and **** position.... This can only set yourself up for trouble. If you're serious about raising, make it 3+1 for every limper and then add another 1 or 2 because you're oop. i.e. bump it up to 220 or so. This isn't something id recommend though cause people are dumb and call with their **** because they have "implied odds" (i.e. they think they have implied odds, but they dont even know what implied means).
For the rest of the hand, I dont hate the way you played it and I dont live it (all pretty meh).... you've put yourself in a position early in a tournament where you're effectively playing for stacks when you shouldn't be.
The flop is about as good as you can hope for... You obviously cant just check it (why raise if you're going to check top pair), but your hand is still fairly marginal. i'd bet 250 but hate that I had put myself in this god awful position....
You get 2 callers.... seriously time to check/fold... throw your hand in the muck... It looks like you're playing spastics though. Still, if you are playing retards, then the sure fire way to lose to them is to play marginal hands oop... You will lose everytime.
Its convenient that you range him as having 1 particular hand (KT) in which you're slightly ahead... I guess it allows you to justify your play easier? How did you come up with this range anyway? did you pick the hand that you hoped he had the most and pray?
Yeah, im being overly harsh, but I cant help it with a hand such as this.
1 thing that will help you start playing better: POSITION.
Raise J2o from the button rather than AQs from the BB
