| Presentación | ***** UPDATE 10/16/06***** Seems it's been a while since I've updated this page. Lots of changes since April (last time I updated here). Still have a bunch of time issues with my work. It seems like I never get any time off that I am not committed to some other thing. Hopefully with our slower season coming up, I'll have some free time and be able to log into Poker Room a little more frequently than once a week.... Hope to see you all soon!!! "It's not that life is too short, it's just that death is too long!!" With an addictive personality like I have, you might wonder WHY does he play poker? Because I love the game. I love the excitement of bad-beating someone out of a big pot. The feeling I get when I get bad-beat isn't so bad either. And when I am holding absolutely nothing and bluff at the pot and everyone folds, just makes my day!! It not just poker that I love, it's gambling in general. I love anything that involves taking risks. With gambling, the only risks are with your money. I have spent a considerable portion of my time alive gambling with my life. Once I put down my old life (Drugs & Alcohol), I needed something to fill that risk-taking emptiness that I felt. That's when I found poker. Poker has filled a void in my life, an empty space that used to be filled with illicit drugs. Since getting off of the drugs, I have learned ALL about addiction, and how to avoid getting back onto that roller coaster. For me poker and gambling are not an addiction, just a way to release some of that backed up, risk taking, adrenaline. An ex dope fiend like me needs some kind of high to feel right with the world, and thats what I get from poker. So when you see me in the rooms, let me know that you're there and that you have read this. This doesn't mean that I will go easy on you (or for you to go easy on me), on the contrary, it means that I will play my heart out with you.
