Pocket Aces Strike Again: J Carlisle Out

It seems that pocket aces are destined to be the doom of Team PokerRoom today. J Carlisle was holding KK on a K 5 7 flop, and, even better, got tons of action, getting his 60K+ stack into the middle with an opponent that covered him and who was holding AA. Blank on the turn was welcome news but an A spiking on the river to give his opponent a set of aces wasn't a welcome sight at all.
J Carlisle seemed amazingly upbeat after that terrible turn of events, echoing the sentiment that there wasn't much he could do about it and wouldn't play it any other way. He did say it was time to head back to the hotel to tie one on, a sentiment we can definitely understand and officially endorse in cases like this.
