-Rex Cramer-, golsen11, and dj_stiff Book Their Seats to Australia

Oct 14, 2008 While the Team has been busy the last few weeks scattered across the globe at two different live events (the 2008 WPT Canada event in Niagara Falls and the 2008 PokerNews Cup in Melbourne), there's been plenty of action in the Aussie Millions online finals. The Team is poised to be a major force at the 2009 Aussie Millions and the roster just keeps growing, with online finals now running every Saturday and Sunday, as well as spots on the Team up for grabs in The Bounty.

Turning back the clock, October 4th saw a long-suffering regular in the online finals finally break through, with -Rex Cramer- taking down the finals and the $18,000 trip package to the 2009 Aussie Millions. -Rex Cramer-'s tournament results more than speak for themselves, as he's been a major winner the last few years in online tournaments, but he'd always seemed jinxed in the online finals, doomed to finish 2nd or 3rd and always coming up just short.

That wouldn't be the case on October 4th, though, as -Rex Cramer- dominated a final table that included 2008 WSOP Team member bigbalu67 and other tough players, finally breaking through and taking home the top prize.

The Aussie Millions online finals on October 11th featured another tough field of 44 runners and plenty of Team veterans from previous trips. It looked like we might have a repeat performance from a former Team member, as both MickeMusxxx and BEATME x (who were both at the 2008 WSOP with the Team) were still alive when the field was down to four players, along with golsen11 and The__Wizz.

In the end, though, it'd be a new fresh face that would join the Team in Melbourne for the 2009 Aussie Millions, and that fresh face was golsen11, who took down first place and the $18,000 prize package, with BEATME x finishing as runner-up.

dj_stiff needs no introduction to readers, as he's been with the Team at three events so far: the 2007 WPT Canada, the 2008 Aussie Millions, and the 2008 WSOP. And after the online finals on October 12th, you can add yet another notch to his belt, as he emerged atop the field and took down yet another trip, this time a $18,000 Aussie Millions package.

The Team veteran dj_stiff grabbed the chip lead midway through the final table and never looked back, defeating eumel53 in heads-up action to take down the trip package and make yet reservation on the Team for a major live event.
