3 More Answer the Team London Call - By Seth Shafer

Jul 23, 2008 With the 2008 WSOP Main Event keeping your crack team of PokerRoom bloggers and writers very busy, it's time we caught up on qualifiers in recent weeks who've booked their $26,500 tickets to join Team PokerRoom in London.

The online finals on July 5th saw a familiar face survive the 60 player field and emerge on top, with billybillard taking down the $26,500 top prize. This will be his third stint with Team PokerRoom, as he's previously represented the Team at the 2008 WSOP and the 2007 WPT Five Diamonds Classic (where he finished 65th and cashed for $28,905).

The July 12th online finals saw yet another packed house of 60 players, with incauda finishing the day atop the field and holding onto a $26,500 ticket to London. The Team PokerRoom allure was in full effect, as more than ten players in the field for the online finals were former Team PokerRoom members trying to win their way back into another tour of duty with the Team.

The July 19th finals were yet another sold-out affair and another case of deja vu, with another Team PokerRoom vet booking yet another trip with the Team. This time it was gbpoker that survived a 60 player field to take down 1st place and the $26,500 prize package. Not only is gbpoker a Team PokerRoom veteran but this will be his fourth trip with the Team (twice to the WSOP and to the 2007 WPT North American Poker Championship in Niagara Falls).

If you're looking to add your own name to the list of Team PokerRoom qualifiers for the London trip of a lifetime, don't delay, as the weekly online finals on Saturdays are filling up days in advance.
