The question is a simple one: -
Is political correctness the biggest cancer in modern society?


PS...just to fill you in on the latest pc shocker (which gives you a clue as to where my beliefs lay) -


A UK government funded body has forwarded this think tank idea - school children as young as three are now subject to the wrath of racism, in that, if they were to turn there nose up at a curry or say 'yuk' that will be deemed racism. The child could be disciplined and/or parents subject to prosecution.

Madnes or what?

It’s a biggie all right…..The biggest?…..I dunno -- so that’s the way I voted.
You’ve also got the Government’s -- EVERY Government’s -- deliberate dumbing-down of each new crop of students.

I can only agree with you on all this modern PC bollox! There was a time that a lack of tolerance and understanding in society needed to be addressed but for the last 25 years I think they've just been trying to justify having a job.

Along with this, the other recent one that's had me gobsmacked was last week when, a motion was put before the House of Commons where "anyone recruiting, had to show preference to applicants who were from an minority over all equally qualified/ experienced applicants of home nation decent. I don't mind competing for work with anybody regardless of race, religion or disability but I do object when I could get discriminated against because I'm a Western European, living in Western Europe
