His last hand, however, is worth a detailed look.
At first glance, making a failed stone cold bluff with K7 pre-flop doesn't sound like the way you want to go, but Colson10 himself, having vast experience of events of this type, disagreed.
He was up against sharp Dane Mads Andersen whom Colson10 has played before. Mads had a big stack and virtually ran the table.
When Mads raised Colson10's pre-flop bet, Colson10 moved all-in with a healthy $12,000 stack and knowing the type of player Mads is (a good one) his thinking was that Mads would fold all hands except AA, KK and maybe AK to this substantial re-raise. And being the big-stack, the range of hands Mads would raise with in this situation was quite extensive. Hence the chance of forcing a fold was greater than 50%.
Mads took a long time off in the tank and then finally called... with.... AK.
AQ he would definitely have folded so Colson10s reasoning was probably dead on.
It's always interesting to hear the complex strategies being used in events of this magnitude.
Our hope now stands with:
a) Sander72 finding form on his home turf tomorrow.
b) Fougan somehow getting ahold of a ticket for flight nr 2 tomorrow.
Fougan is at the top of his game after winning a side-game sit & go earlier. With 6 player left, Fougan had ONE single low-value chip left. Naturally he turned it all around, doubled up like 9 times and won it in flamboyant Fougan style.
After re-raising a short-stacked Norwegian all-in for about $6,000 everything looked dandy when the hesitant Norwegian flipped KQ and grunted at Skrabe's AK.
A queen on the board later and Skrabe was short-stacked, short-tempered and looking for revenge.
Having his big blind re-raised for the tenth time in a row he pushed with A4 clubs. Naturally.. this time the villain had QQ and Skrabe too exits the event after a very rough beat.
Had he not lost to the dominated hand, he would have been cruising with $20,000.
The poker gods are not on our side tonight.
Bad Gril Pham is now in a commanding chiplead with 80K in chips.
This is a play you do not want to be on the losing end of in a tournament with a $1,000,000+ prize pool.....
Bad Girl Pham in mid position.
Arttu5 on the small blind.
Pham limps, Arttu5 calls.
Flop Q6A. Pham bets 1,000, Arttu5 raises to $3,000. Pham calls. Turn >J. Arttu5 moves all-in for another $5,100, Pham thinks and eventually CALLS!
Arrtu5: Q6 for two pair, Pham A7 for a very, very weak ace.
River: 7.................................
No further comments.....
and..... nothing....
Lol. You have to love these major events...
As the first hand draws near, the tension rises and the adrenalin starts pumping... But then somebody raises to $75 from his starting stack of $10,000....... and everybody folds...
So much for action...
After losing major Dutch star Rob Hollink early on, the most exciting hand so far was seeing Gus Hansen hesitantly fold to an all-in raise on a board of:
Flop 66J
Turn J
River A
Gus bet it all the way and Swedish TV Reporter Joakim Geigert, who made the raise, really kept his cool while Gus was in the tank. He thought too long for it to be mere acting though so the guess is Gus on a 6 and Geigert on AA.
But then again, what do I know....
All three Team PokerRoom.com players are off to a decent start.
Skrabe's best hand so far is qj so obviously he hasn't seen much action. Skrabe's position is not so good though having Danish star Chrisitian Grundtvig on his immediate left.
Arrtu5 lost 1K when he called a 1K pre-flop re-raise with JJ and went for the muck when the flop came an unfortunate:
A K Q.
Colson10 is in the best position seeming to already have established a great table image on what is a rather weak table.
Back to the action!
Joe Hachim, Chris Moneymaker, Gus Hansen, Rene Pedersen (who recently won the 5 Diamond Classic), The Boatmans, Pascal Perrault, Xuyen "Bad Gril" Pham and about 250 agressively playing Scandinavian young-guns have all showed up fight for the prize pool of almost 8,000,000 Danish kroner (rough translation - $1,200,000).
Both Skrabe, Arttu5 and Colson10 are in action today while Sander72 will be playing tomorrow. The field is so large that tournament will have two day one flights.
The much larger American card rooms have a lot to learn from the Danes when it comes to arrangements for press, media and on-lookers. Very impressive! Hopefully I'm not the only one taking notes....

Team PokerRoom.com is in Copenhagen for the Scandinavian stop-over on the European Poker Tour.
They are loaded with confidence and intent on:
a) Winning the event
b) Deciding once and for all which of the three Scandinavian Team players really rules, and
c) Playing in style and hang out with the celebs and pros.
Skrabe (Norway), Arttu5 (Finland) and Sander72 (Denmark) are here to battle it out and will hopefully beat the entire starting field in the process.
Both Fougan and Colson10 are here as well, but unfortunately Fougan has to stay court-side because of the tournament filling out in about 9 nano-seconds.
The field is 488 player strong, and the waiting list is rumoured to have passed 80 before management decided to stop that sillyness.
It's going to be one fierce event. And hopefully it has Team PokerRoom.com written all over it!
