Getting ready for the off.

The only way to travel in Hamburg is in PokerRoom buses… of course.

And this is what greeted them on arrival.

And they loved it...

The set up.

It was only the first hand, but the Flying Dutchman has a cig during some early contemplation.

A winner in the waiting.

The all too popular Pom.

An occasionally tense final table.

They’ll do.

As it stands, those Queens worked out pretty well.

Champion!

And the car, oh yeah... That’s mine!!!

We had a lot of the Team asking about the LabRats last night. It was very flattering to hear how you all loved it as it was a newsroom concept. Jeff_Wood and xxxStraight7 said how great they thought it was. Well, to put you out of your misery... yes, there will be a sequel. LabRats2 will be even bigger and better. We're still putting the finishing touches to some of the twists and tricks we've got in mind. There will be a few more players this time so you all have a chance. It will be sometime in the New Year so we'll give you more details nearer the time.

Just about to get on the plane so see you soon, and thanks for everything TPR! Hopefully, we'll see some of you at the Aussie Millions.

Well, more like the afternoon... but it was a very late night. Yours truly checked out of the night at about 5am leaving a few people - Jeff_Wood and his brothers - getting even more wasted. Those guys can drink. In fact, all of the Team PokerRoom.com players who we spoke to said they had a wonderful time. Everyone said that winning wasn't important but it was just meeting up with fellow PokerRoom.com players and chewing the fat about what they love about the site to us Bloggers. It was great to meet all of you, and can't wait to do it again.

Last night was a tremendous success - all of the stops were pulled out to make sure everyone was treated well. Free food and drinks were provided for all - including partners. They stayed in a fabulous hotel, were treated to some great merchandise and just had a thoroughly good time at the poker night.

A big thanks must go out to our compadres in Hamburg / Vienna who put on a great event. Everything ran smoothly. I know we have some more big events coming up in the near future and if this is anything to go by it's gonna be great. So I can't stress enough how much of a great time you'll have at our live events. Qualify today please!!

Guggi X played a bloomin' marvellous game... and came through to win it! The guy didn't put a foot wrong heads-up. He played exactly as you should and trounced the other fella. And this is how he did it with the final hand.

kkouis had to go all-in with the blinds at 3,000/6,000. He had rags - 75 off-suit but didn't have any choice. Unfortunately, as luck would have it, Guggi met him head on with QT, only to be blessed with a Q on the flop and then one on the river. Job's a good un!

We're gonna bring you much later... but to be honest, we're knackered.

Well done, Guggi, the best player of the night - by far. Have a great night, a great drive, a great car, great kid etc etc.

Yes, he's done it again. And this time big time! Guggi X went all-in with AT against A9. 9 comes up on the flop and then nothing on the turn and then...a T (10) on the river. So Guggi did it again. Now he is chip leader by about 4:1. Blimey!

Guggi X just doubled up again. He went all-in pre-flop with A6 and was called with Q6. Nothing showed up on the board so another pot to the Dane. kkouis is still in the lead, however. But there's really not much in it. Nail-biting stuff, people.

From what I can see, kkouis had about an 8:1 chip lead but in the last few minutes Guggi X has doubled up and doubled up and doubled again! Both players obviously want this to come to an end soon - me too. My white russian (I'm so metrosexual) is getting warm so get a shift on! The chip counts are VERY close - about 25K each.

Blinds are now at 1,500/3,000

Well, ladies and gents, we've lost another player - but I can't imagine he's too unhappy. KlorEs, who won the Online Final lost to Guggi with 46 suited against J6. Nothing made a difference so Guggi X took the pot to leave a heads-up against kkouis.

Unlucky, KlorEs, you played a great game both online and off. Hats off to you, sir!
