cactuscliff, celticchicky, and IljaV Move One Step Closer to a Nokia N82 by Liam Clark

The Moblife Weekly Qualifiers just keep getting bigger and bigger with 106 players turning out on Saturday for their chance to win the fantastic black Nokia N82. It was another star-studded field with some of PokerRoom.com's biggest names grabbing the Weekly Moblife Password from the NewsRoom last week and using it to register for Saturday's Tournament.

The action started out fast and furious and by the 30 minute mark the field had been reduced down to 50 players with ukstevey leading the way on 6,405 in chips from cactuscliff on 5,343 and dimonddazzle on 4,855. Just on the one hour mark it was down to the final table with Latvian player IljaV holding a clear chip lead, sitting on a nice stack of 24,496. Here is how the final table looked.

Short stacked bulldog434 was the first to fall from the final table when his pocket 2's couldn't hold up against Zumzum333's J7. Zumzum333 was then out soon after at the hands of a tough beat when he got it all in pre-flop with aces, but cactuscliff's A J found four runners for the Q high straight. When melullabelle busted in 5th for the second week in a row it was down to four players with Cyberzonk78 the new chip leader on 37,570.

With the top three finishers receiving tickets to the Moblife Final, four handed play tightened up considerably. The first all-in push again came from Cyberzonk78, who pushed his monster stack all-in over after cactuscliff led out with 5,600 on a 7H 6H JH flop. cactuscliff called with the remaining 8,600 he had behind and turned over Jc 7D for top two pair against Cyberzonk78 Ac Js for top pair, top kicker. Cyberzonk78 was going to need some help to retain the chip lead and he did not get it with the turn and river blanking, handing a big pot and the chip lead to cactuscliff.

After another 10 minutes of absorbing player, Cyberzonk78 was again the next player to move his stack into the middle, getting it all in from SB and again going heads up with cactuscliff, who called from BB. Cyberzonk78 showed Kh Js and was going to need to connect with the board o stay alive against cactuscliff's As 9s. The flop came QH 9C 3C giving Cyberzonk78 some more outs with the straight draw, but a 2s on the turn and then a 5c on the river ended Cyberzonk78's tournament and cactuscliff, celticchicky, and IljaV all moved on to the Moblife Final on Sunday December 7th.
