$24,220 donated to the Red Cross
Mar 17, 2006 Together with our players PokerRoom.com donates $24,220 to the Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund.For the second time we arranged special online aid tournaments, this time to help the victims of the Hurricane Katrina. During two weeks 4 tournaments were hosted generating $16,800 to the Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund. Together with the $3,710 donated directly by PokerRoom.com players through gift vouchers and the match of this money by PokerRoom.com the total sum donated adds up to $24,220.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank all the players who supported this initiative and has contributed to help the victims of Hurricane Katrina.
