Ace of Aces changes announced

Mar 17, 2006 Right now we're in the middle of the February Ace of Aces competition (and it's a fierce race), but soon it's March and time for the third edition of the competition. With it comes some changes to the structure of the competition.

• Buy-in is changed to $250+17
• First prize of the leaderboard will be a spot in the WSOP 2006!
• Only top 10 scores will count for each player

The qualifiers have undergone changes to accomodate for this - the scheduled satellites are now $30+3 buy-in, as are the Sit-and-Go satellites (with an Aces ticket for the winner, and a new $30+3 ticket for the runner-up). The scheduled satellites will remain at the same time slots (6:10 and 9:50 PM ET).

If you have a $150+12 ticket, and won't be able to use it during the rest of the February competition, don't be alarmed. We're going to hold two "blow-out" tournaments on March 4th and 11th (3 PM EST), for you (and whoever else wants to join in on the fun).
