Security Improvement

Jul 3, 2006 PokerRoom.com is pleased to announce that as of April 20th, a Multi Table Tournament IP block is in place throughout the whole of the Ongame Network to prevent players using the same IP address from participating in these particular tournaments.

This feature is an extension of the already existing IP block feature that prevents players with the same IP address to join the same Ring Game or Sit & Go table.

The MTT IP block has been undertaken to counteract collusion and multiple account issues within PokerRoom.com and the Ongame Network.

If you attempt to join either a Ring game, Sit & Go or Scheduled Tournament where another player has the same IP as you, you will be refused from the game. If you cannot enter a game and are not aware of someone else using the same IP as you, please contact support@pokerroom.com with your details and any error message that you see. Please note that password protected Private Tournaments are excluded from the MTT IP block.
