Canada Wins The Cup!
Jun 27, 2006 After some tough qualifying matches in the group stages, only 20 made it through to the finals where only one would take home the highly prestigious Soccer Sit & Go Cup and more importantly a ticket to the $5,000,000 Guaranteed Poker Classic worth $5,200!Thousands of players entered the Soccer Sit & Go Challenge but in the end only 20 players managed to conquer all 5 countries and all 4 disciplines; NL Hold’em, PL Hold’em, Omaha Hi/Lo PL and Omaha Hi PL. They showed great stamina and skill and hopefully without too many injuries along the way.
But as in all great competitions, there can be only one real winner and after the raffle wheel had stopped, we are pleased to announce that player Mrstree will now be playing in the $5,000,000 Guaranteed Poker Classic. A big congratulations to Mrstree who now has a ticket worth $5,200 waiting!
Although only the 20 players who finished the challenge were entered in to the final raffle to win the first place prize, we decided to extend the $68+5 Poker Classic ticket giveaway to a further 20 players who came very close!
