The re-buy feature allows players who lose all their chips in a tournament to buy back into it again within a set time frame - usually the first hour of a tournament.

However, you don't have to lose all your chips in order to re-buy. As long as you have equal or less amount chips to what you started with, you can purchase these extra chips.

All re-buy tournaments also offer players the opportunity to make a one-time only add-on right after the re-buy period is over. An add-on is like a re-buy, but is open to all remaining players, regardless of stack-size.
