VikboBosse from Vikbolandet near Stockholm set off to the north-east of Germany. The Race Trophy semi-final in Oschersleben promised VIP treatment for the whole race weekend. A luxurious hotel, the best restaurants in town and exclusive nightlife. As he explained before the televised semi-final, his aims for the weekend had been achieved after the experience at the race track. After beating his opponent IntraVnus and tossing the cards into the middle, everyone could see the mixture of happiness and satisfaction on his face. He made it to the grand final on 29th November in Vienna, where a $500,000 prize pool is waiting.

It must have been a big surprise when they saw that VikboBosse had taken the victory in Oschersleben. His son _Ginnungagap congratulated proudly in the PokerRoom.com blog. VikboBosse (3-1 chipleader) called the all-in push from his opponent IntraVnus: Swedish A3s against the English Pocket Pair Queens – another Ace from the board and the entry to the $500,000 grand final was confirmed.

After these words, even the journalists clustering around to take pictures of him getting into the leading car found themselves struggling to hold back the tears. As always, the winner was given special treatment. As all Race Trophy semi-final winners before him – he was invited to open the WTCC race as passenger in the leading car. He met the top WTCC drivers, among them his Swedish compatriot Rydell. On this weekend, VikboBosse was by far the more successful of the two Swedish entrants, since he qualified for the $500,000 grand final in Vienna on 29th November while Rydell didn’t even make a ranking score in the WTCC race.
