F34RB34R has negotiated the 11th level of the Tournament without major incident, bleeding out a small percentage of his stack and not really playing any major hands. With one more level left for the day, F34RB34R has 175,000 and is just playing patiently and waiting for the right cards, stealing a few pots and keeping it tight. With top 80 getting paid and 111 players remaining we are approaching the money and let’s hope The Swedish FEARBEAR not only cashes but makes it a all the way!

Last break for day 2:

Chip Leader: 583,000 Con Angelakis
Ave Stack: 140,500
111/780 remaining.
Next level (12): Blinds 1200/2400 Ante 400

We have reached the dinner break on day 2 of the Aussie Millions and although the 10th level (3rd for the day) saw the end of Herc-Ned’s great run, there is no stopping Team PokerRoom’s young Swedish Maestro F34RB34R!

F34RB34R’s stack grew to 190,000 by the break, but it dropped as low 90,000 at one stage during the level after he committed to a big pot but then was forced to fold when his opponent with position tried to force him all-in. The decision to fold was tough for F34RB34R as he was sitting on a straight, but it proved to be the correct decision when his opponent turned over his cards to show a full house!

F34RB34R didn’t stay down for long though, flopping a set of 6’s and sending another opponent to the rail and doubling his stack right back up.

The 19 year old is playing with experience and composure beyond his years and making the right calls at the right times. He has entered the dinner break with 190,000 and is looking like a winner. C’mon F34RB34R!

4th Break:

Chip Leader: Con Angelakis , 510,000
Ave Stack: 114,000
136/780 remaining
Next Level (11) Blinds 1000/2000Ante 300

Team PokerRoom.com’s Australian dynamo has hit the rail after his pocket Q’s ran into Adriano Cendron's pocket A’s just before dinner break.

The action started with UTG leading out pre-flop with a raise of 4600, Herc called before Cendron bumped it up to 20,000 from middle position. UTG then folded and Herc called.

The flopped showed low rainbow and Herc-Ned lead out with 40, 000. Cendron then pushed all-in over the top with 140,000 and Herc went to the tank for almost 2 minutes before finally calling with the remainder of his stack. Cendron turned over pocket A’s leaving Herc’s only 2 outs (Q’s).

Unfortunately Herc didn’t get his Q on the turn or the river and Team PokerRoom.com’s favorite Aussie was finished at the Aussie Millions!

We would like to take the time to congratulate Herc-Ned on his fantastic run in the tournament. To get down into the last 160 of 780 players in his first big major was truly a fantastic effort, especially considering he got down to and up from 12,000 late on day 1!

Well done Herc-Ned!

“I wasn’t there for the $15,000. You can’t win a tournament that way. I was there to win.” - Herc-Ned

We have reached the 3rd break of day 2 and F34RB34R and Herc-Ned are powering through the day, both reaching the break with huge chip stacks of 140,000 and 123,000 respectively!

F34RB34R started the level with 76,000 in chips, whilst Herc-Ned was on 53,000, meaning both players have more than doubled their stacks again during the level!

Herc-Ned also had the honor of knocking out the well known high stakes cash game player, Kenny Tran when Tran ran into Herc’s flopped top set.

With Tran short stacked and playing aggressively, Herc-Ned was the only caller to Tran’s pre flop raise of 3,600. The Flop then showed 852 rainbow and Herc checked the action to Tran who bet out 6,500. Herc then bumped it up to 15,000 and Tran and pushed all in over the top with 2000 more. Herc called, turning over his pocket 8’s for a flopped top set and Tran showed 96 off; left behind and in need of a 7 to hit the straight. The turn showed a 6, and then the river showed another 6 to give Tran a set, but it was cooked by Herc’s boat, 8’s full of 6’s. Herc described the feeling of sending Tran to the rail “unbelievable”.

To make things even better for Herc, he hit a nut flush in the shadows of the break and picked up another big pot to put his stack over 120,000.

At the 3rd break;

Chip Leader: Con Angelakis 440,000
Ave Stack: 92,000
168/780 players remaining
Next level (10): Blinds 800/1600 Ante 200

F34RB34R actually ran into a slight bit of trouble at the break, as the Casino guards first wouldn’t let him back in to the tournament floor - as they thought he looked much younger then 18! (Man, he’s playing in THE tournament! And he’s more then a year older than 18! :)

Full house #1, Tens full of nines for F34RB34R.

Full house #2, Eight full of sixes for Herc-Ned.

Team PokerRoom.com’s youngest member F34RB34R just doubled up again, moving his stack past the 130,000 mark! With the board showing 9A9T and his opponent raising 40,000, F34RB34R pushed all-in with another 6000 over the top and was insta-called! F34RB34R’s opponent was confident and showed AT giving him two pair, but F34RB34R showed his pocket T’s to give him full house, T’s full of 9’s.

F34RB34R’s opponents only out was an A on the river, but when it showed J the big pot was F34RB34R’s and he continued his amazing run!

Team PokerRoom.com players F34RB34R and Herc-Ned have reached the 2nd break on day 2 in a great position, both having more than doubled their stacks since today’s play commenced!!

F34RB34R is leading the way with 76,000 and Herc-Ned is at 53,000, almost triple what he started the day with! These two guys have just played amazing poker so far today and with less than 200 players left, the boys aren’t that far from the money! C'mon!

Chip Leader: Con Angelakis, 430,000
Ave Stack:78,000
Next level (9): Blinds 600/1200 Ante 200

F34RB34R had been taking some hits after his last big win, but has now busted another opponent and moved up to 80,000 in chips, well above the average of 72,000!

The hand started with an aggressive player leading out with a pre-flop raise, which was then re-raised from middle position before F34RB34R bumped it up to almost 30,000 with another re-raise! The first raiser folded but middle position pushed all-in with another 5,000 which F34RB34R instantly called and turned over his KK. His opponent showed TT and with neither player improving their hand F34RB34R busted another opponent and moved to his biggest chip stack so far in the tournament!

Fear the Bear!

Thursday, January 17th, 2008

F34RB34R has just increased his stack again after hitting two pair on the turn and knocking out an opponent holding K’s!

Sitting in late position and holding AQ, F34RB34R called a short stacked opponents pre flop raise of 4000. The flop showed QTx rainbow and his opponent moved all-in with less then 20,000. F34RB34R thought for a moment and announced to his opponent “I think you have Kings, but I can’t fold… I call.”. As F34RB34R predicted his opponent turned over K’s and F34RB34R was behind with his pair of Queens. Sure enough though, the turn showed an A and our young Swede hit his two pair and eliminated his opponent and moved up to 70,000! This day is getting better and better.

More good news! Just as we were writing about F34RB34R success, Herc-Ned has just doubled up and moved to over 60,000. Herc-Ned raised pre-flop with pocket A’s and then moved all-in after he was re-raised by an opponent who read Herc-Ned as bluffing! His opponent then called and showed JT! With the board running out and neither playing improving their hand our Australian dynamo doubled up!

mad.afurable from the WSOP 2007 edition of Team PokerRoom.com is here at the Aussie Millions, and doing really well. He’s up to around 100,000 chips. Go Germany!

Herc-Ned is also playing confidently and has now increased his stack just over 30,000!
