Friday, January 20th, 2006 When Sander72 pushed with Q10 of diamonds versus K7 of diamonds after both players turned the flush, Team PokerRoom.com's challenge ended abruptly.... A fair loss, but Sander72 did master his pityful stack excellently and moved up to over $6,000 numerous times just to see a big hand like AQ or a turned flush go sour on him. It's become painfully clear that this not our home turf and the team will certainly be looking for revenge in the WPT Finals at the Bellagio in April. Skrabe earns the title of Best Nordic Team PokerRoom.com Player and when we last saw Fougan he was back in the $500 Sit n' Gos tearing them up along with his good friend Pascal Perrault. He didn't get the seat in the Main Event he so desperately wanted, but maybe that wasn't so bad after all.

Friday, January 20th, 2006 Can someone lift the doomswitch please? Sander72 flopped a set of kings early on when the board came KQJ. Somehow he managed to not lose more than $3,000 when a ghastly ace on river connected with a very optimistically played K10. Quickly recovering from the early hit he later pushed on a flop with top two pair. Kings called and spiked the set on the river. With less than $2,000, can Sander72 make yet another revocery? Unless the godess of poker shapes up it doesn't seem likely.

Friday, January 20th, 2006 With 144 players hitting the tables yesterday, it is time for the other 144 players to make or break it today. From Team PokerRoom.com Sander72 will be gunning for a top finish here on his home turf and hopefully a Fougan on fire has somehow manged to get his hands on one of the very coveted entry tickets. Today is also the day pros such as World Champion Joe Hachim, Flying Dutchman Marcel Luske and Ram Vaswani take up the challenge from a hoard of top-ranked Scandinavians. Stay tuned as we demand better favours from lady luck. Hopefully the bad beats that took out both Arrtu5 and Skrabe yesterday has laid the way for a smother sailing for a very psyched Sander72.
